Coulterville Holiday Light Display

The Coulterville Holiday Light Display is one of the finest light displays in Southern Illinois. The display is open every evening in December and is located at Coulterville City Park in the heart of downtown Coulterville. The display consists of over a 1/2 million lights and over 450 hundred handcrafted wooden cutouts. The 1/4 mile Walk Thru display features many animated scenes including a 9 foot Ferris Wheel, Cupid's Carousel and our Salute to Heroes Merry–Go–Round in Santa's Playland.Other features include Frosty's Theater, Our ceramic village display,The Wildland Christmas Display, Gingerbread Village, and many other features . Every Friday and Saturday evening in December from 6 – 8 PM courtesy of the Village of Coulterville and the Coulterville Holiday Association Santa visits the park, children's activities and FREE refreshments are served. Coulterville Fall Festival

This annual event occurs the first Saturday in October at Coulterville City Park from 10 – 4. This event includes great food, crafters, and great entertainment. Be sure to watch the annual pet show in the morning and listen to the areas best music talent in the afternoon. The festival concludes with a themed parade. Picnic

The first weekend in June brings good food, great entertainment, and lots of rides and games for the youngsters to Coulterville City Park. This annual tradition provides fun and entertainment for both young and old alike. Carnival rides and great food are the highlights of this community celebration. Movie Nights at the Park

This fun event happens the last Saturday of every month at the City Park starting at 8PM during the summer. This FREE event offers outdoor showing of movies on our big screen, refreshments, and children activities. Farmers Market

Every Wednesday evening during the summer months the Coulterville City Park is host to a farmers market from 4 – 7PM. Be sure to stop by and take home some of our areas best homegrown goods, baked treats, and handcrafted crafts. Please contact (618) 758–2500 for more information.

Grand Cote Cruisers Annual Car Show

In late June Coulterville Lions Park is home to one of the biggest car shows in the area. This event offers good food, entertainment, and the opportunity to view the finest cars around. Be sure to watch for signs for this great event.

Grade School State Ball Tournament

In October Coulterville plays host to the state baseball and softball tournament. This event offers the chance to watch the areas finest talent play for the chance to be state champs.
